శ్లో: 52. గతే కర్ణాభ్యర్ణం గరుత ఇవ పక్ష్మాణి దధతీ 

పురాంభేత్తుశ్చిత్త ప్రశమరస విద్రావణఫలేI 

ఇమేనేత్రే గోత్రాధర పతికులోత్తంసకలికే* 

తవాకర్ణా కృష్ణస్మర శరవిలాసం కలయతఃll 

 

🌻. తాత్పర్యం : 

అమ్మా! మంచు పర్వత రాజు అయిన హిమవంతుని వంశమునకు మకుటాయమైన తల్లీ , నా యొక్క కనులకు నీ కనులు చెవులను అంటి ఉండి ఆ కను రెప్పల వెంట్రుకలు బాణములకు రెండు వైపులా కట్టబడు ఈకల వలె ఉండి పరమ శివుని నిరాశను పోగొట్టి శృంగార రసోద్పాదన చేయునట్లుగా కనబడు చున్నవి. మరియు చెవుల వరకు లాగబడి మన్మధ బాణముల యొక్క సౌందర్యమును కలిగించు చున్నవి కదా ! 

  

🌻. జప విధానం - నైవేద్యం:--

ఈ శ్లోకమును 1000 సార్లు ప్రతి రోజు 45 రోజులు జపం చేస్తూ, నువ్వుల అన్నం నివేదించినచో కన్నుల వ్యాధులు, చెవుల వ్యాధుల నివారణ జరుగును అని చెప్పబడింది.

*🌴 Curing of Diseases of Ears and Eye 🌴*

52. Gathe karnabhyarnam garutha iva pakshmani dhadhati. Puraam bhetthus chitta-prasama-rasa-vidhravana-phale; Ime nethre gothra-dhara-pathi-kulottamsa-kalike Tav'akarn'akrishta-smara-sara-vilasam kalayathah. 

 

 Oh, flower bud, who is the head gear, of the king of mountains, wearing black eye brows above, resembling the feathers of eagle, and determined to destroy peace, from the mind of he who destroyed the three cities, your two eyes elongated up to thine ears, enact the arrows of the god of love.

🌻 Chanting procedure and Nivedyam (offerings to the Lord) : 

If one chants this verse 1000 times a day for 45 days, offering tillannam (Ellu rice) as prasadam, it is believed that all problems relating to ears and eyes will be resolved.
