శ్లో: 18. తనుచ్ఛాయాభిస్తే తరుణతరణి శ్రీ సరణిభిః దివంసర్వా ముర్వీ మరుణిమ నిమగ్నాం స్మరతి యఃl భవంతస్య త్రస్య ద్వనహరిణ శాలీన నయనాః సహోర్వశ్యా వశ్యాః కతికతి నగీర్వాణ గణికాఃll 

 

🌷. తాత్పర్యం : 

అమ్మా ! ఉదయపు సూర్యుని శోభను పోలిన శోభ కలిగిన నీ శరీరమును ఎఱ్ఱ దనముతో నిండిన ఆకాశముగా ఎవ్వరు పూజించు చున్నారో అట్టి వారు, తొట్రుపాటు పడుచూ అడవుల యందున్న లేళ్ళ కన్నుల వంటి కన్నులు కల అప్సరసలకు సైతము వశము కారు కదా ! 

🌻. జప విధానం - నైవేద్యం :

ఈ శ్లోకమును 1000 సార్లు ప్రతి రోజు 45 రోజులు జపం చేసి తేనె, పాలు, తాంబూలము నివేదిస్తే, దైవీ ప్రేమ యందు విజయము, మోహ నాశనము, చిత్రకళల యందు నైపుణ్యము పొందుతారు అని చెప్పబడింది.

18. Thanuschayabhi sthe tharuna-tharuni -srisarinibhi Divam sarva-murvi-marunimani magnam smaranthi ya Bhavanthasya thrasya-dhwana-harina shaleena nayana Sahervasya vasya kathikathi na geervana Ganika

🌷 Translation : 

He who meditates on, the luster of your beautiful body, which is blessed by the rising sun, and which dissolves the sky and the world light purple hue, Will not fall for celestial damsels like uravasi and others, who have eyes like the wild startled deer.

 🌻 Chanting procedure and Nivedyam (offerings to the Lord) :

If one chants this verse 1000 times every day for 45 days, and offers Honey, milk and thambulam as nivedhyam , one can achieve divine Love, getting Rid of Attachments, Become expert in Arts and Crafts.

🌻 BENEFICIAL RESULTS: 

Deep knowledge in sciences, getting good bridegrooms in the case of marriageable women and blessings of great men. 

 

🌻 Literal Results:

Adds lustre and magnetism to body and face. The double "vashya" in the sloka creates magnetic aura around the devotee, 'the rising sun' in the sloka implies new beginnings. This sloka is also a prayer to the planet, Sun (if misplaced in horoscope or debilitated or during Surya Mahadasa).
